In this installment, Kabir faces a formidable adversary, Veerendra Raghunath, a former RAW operative turned rogue, played by N.T. Rama Rao Jr. The plot delves into Veerendra’s transformation into a deadly antagonist, tied to a botched RAW mission years ago, where he was betrayed by his own team and left for dead. This mission was covertly overseen by Kabir, though he was unaware of the betrayal within RAW. Veerendra now seeks revenge on the system that abandoned him, with Kabir becoming his primary target. The film also introduces Kiara Advani as Alia, a cybersecurity expert working for RAW, who collaborates with Kabir to thwart Veerendra’s plans.

Filming Locations

“War 2,” starring Hrithik Roshan, Kiara Advani, and N.T. Rama Rao Jr., has been filmed across multiple international locations. Principal photography commenced in October 2023 in Salamanca, Spain, with scenes shot at Plaza de Anaya.

In December 2023, a boat chase sequence was filmed in Abu Dhabi. By March 2024, Hrithik Roshan filmed his introductory scenes at YRF Studios in Mumbai. The following month, N.T. Rama Rao Jr. joined the shoot, and an aerial sequence was captured in Vile Parle, Mumbai. In September 2024, a romantic song featuring Hrithik Roshan and Kiara Advani was filmed in Italy, covering picturesque locations such as Venice, Tuscany, Lake Como, Naples, the Amalfi Coast, and the Sorrento Peninsula.
