A Haunting Beginning
In 1970, paranormal investigators and demonologists Lorraine (Vera Farmiga) and Ed (Patrick Wilson) Warren are called to the home of Carolyn (Lili Taylor) and Roger (Ron Livingston) Perron. The Perrons, along with their five daughters, have recently moved into a secluded farmhouse, unaware of the supernatural presence that has made itself known within their new home.
Escalating Terror
Initially, the manifestations appear relatively benign. However, as the days go by, events take a terrifying turn. The family’s once-peaceful life becomes increasingly disrupted as the supernatural forces grow stronger and more aggressive.
Uncovering a Dark Past
As the Warrens dig deeper, they uncover the farmhouse’s horrifying history. What they discover only intensifies the threat, forcing them to confront the malevolent forces head-on in a desperate attempt to protect the Perron family from the terrifying presence haunting their home.
